On Saturday the 30th August 2008 our club held the official opening of our grass green, and the official opening of our new synthetic green. The synthetic green was a project assisted by Federal and State governments, and the Bayside city council under their water conservation project. It is estimated to save over one million litres of water p.a. and provides our club improved facilities to play all year round.

All members and dignitaries had a fun day. It was great to see our local MP Andrew Robb out there on the green and giving the bowls a go.....(maybe a future club champion, after he gives the politics away)
